General Questions
Q: What services does Roadrunner Chiropractic provide?
A: We offer chiropractic adjustments, modalities, therapeutic exercises, and patient education focused on improving mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Additionally, we also provide pre-participation sports physicals for athletes to help ensure they're ready for performance in their sport of choice.
Q: Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
A: No, in New Mexico, chiropractic physicians are portal-of-entry healthcare providers, so you do not need a referral.
Q: Does Roadrunner Chiropractic accept insurance?
A: No, we do not accept insurance. However, we can provide you with a super bill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. By not working directly with insurance, we’re able to focus on delivering high-quality care without the delays and complexities of prior authorizations, deductibles, copays, explanation of benefits (EOBs), and other administrative hurdles. Additionally, many of the treatments we offer, such as dry needling and myofascial release, are often not covered by insurance.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, credit, and debit cards. Chiropractic care is a qualified medical expense, so you can also use FSA or HSA benefits. Payment is due at the time of service.

A: Our hours are:
Tuesday: 9 AM - 1 PM, 2 PM - 6 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM - 12 PM

Treatment Questions
Q: What should I expect during my first visit?
A: Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation, a discussion of your health history, and a physical exam to determine the best course of care. Treatment may begin on the first visit, depending on your condition.
Q: Are adjustments painful?
A: Most patients experience little to no discomfort during adjustments. If you have concerns, let us know so we can modify your treatment.
Q: Can chiropractic care help with headaches?
A: Yes, chiropractic care can help with certain types of headaches, including tension headaches. We provide personalized treatment plans that may include adjustments, stretches, and exercises.
Q: Do you treat patients involved in car accidents?
A: No, Due to the complexities involved in automobile accidents, we do not treat car accident or workers' comp cases. These cases usually require extensive exams and radiographic images, such as CT and X-rays, which we do not provide in-house. We often refer patients to appropriate specialists for these needs. Additionally, we do not accept attorney liens or promissory notes.
